Your Tokay Development home has a 1 Year Fit and Finish Warranty and a 2-10 Home Buyer's Warranty.
These warranties are in place because -- while we do our best to build a house free of defects -- we know that mistakes can happen and that the products we use can sometimes not perform as they were designed.
This warranty protects original materials and workmanship starting the date of your close of escrow and continues for one year, unless noted otherwise.
You are able to walk your home with our warranty specialists at close of escrow, during the 3rd or 6th month and then finally during the 11th month. Warranty items will be addressed at these times.
If an emergency item occurs between these walks, please review our Emergency and Non-Emergency information for what to do.
The 1 Year Warranty does not include the following:
Normal wear and tear, exposure to the elements, causes beyond Tokay Development’s control, such as acts of God, lack of homeowner maintenance, improvements made by homeowners, failure to maintain ventilation, natural variations in texture, color, thickness, grain and shade on wood cabinets, floors, and trim, changes in grading, animals (insects, pests, wild or vermin) among others.
If you feel you have an item in your home that is under warranty, please download the Service Request Form and fax or mail it to us. We will review your request and contact you to begin working on your claim.
Tokay Development is enrolled in the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty.
Items such as plumbing, HVAC, and electrical are under warranty for two years and the structure for ten years.
