Emergency Information

An Emergency is anything that threatens the safety, health or life of you or your family or may cause permanent damage to the property.

For any fire, medical, and police emergencies, call 9-1-1.

The following are considered Emergencies:

  • Whole house stoppage in a sewer line in the first 30 days after close of escrow
  • Total electrical failure not due to a local power outage
  • Roof leaks that are damaging the interior of your home
  • Gas leak in your home that cannot be immediately shut off at an appliance

When leaving a message, please leave your name, address, phone number where you can be reached and description of the problem.

If Tokay Development finds that your home is out of warranty, or if the item in question is a homeowner maintenance issue, all charges incurred for this service will be billed to you.

Non-Emergencies

For Non-Emergencies, please contact us and leave a message. We will get back to you on the next business day.

Air conditioners not functioning, even in hot weather, are not considered an emergency. If your air conditioner is not working reset your circuit breaker located in the electrical panel. To reset a circuit breaker, switch the circuit to the Off position and then to the On position. If it is running but is not cooling as well as you think it should, be sure your thermostat is set on cool or auto and not fan. If these suggestions do not correct the problem, please contact us and leave a message. We will call you back on the next business day.

Dripping faucets and pipes are not considered an emergency. Do not use a leaking fixture until it is repaired. Be sure to turn off the valves to the fixture and make sure to clean up any excess water. Please call contact us and leave a message. We will call you back on the next business day.

Clogged toilets are not considered an emergency. Please turn off the valve at the back of the toilet and try using a plunger. If this suggestion does not correct the problem, please stop using the toilet and call contact us and leave a message. We will call you back on the next business day.

Electrical failure to one outlet or appliance is not considered an emergency. Please check the circuit breaker in the electrical panel and make sure not circuits need to be reset. To reset a circuit breaker, switch the circuit to the Off position and then to the On position. If the outlet is in the kitchen, bath, garage, or exterior of your house, please check to see if your GFI resets have been tripped.
